CLA is produced from Linoleic Acid (LA), which is part of a family of isomers found in CLA. CLA fatty acids are also known as CLA isomers. CLA is mainly found in meats, dairy products, and other food products. And, since the body does not produce this fatty acid, it must be obtained through diet or supplementation.
